About Miranda Hill, PhD, Mph
Miranda Hill is a social and behavioral scientist and public health professional with 10+ years of experience supporting the development of community-based health equity initiatives. These experiences include conducting health services and policy research, developing mentorship and capacity-building programs, and providing technical assistance to program administrators through outreach and engagement. She was recently recognized as a Health Equity Scholar (2022) by the Multiethnic Health Equity Research Center at the University of California, San Francisco for her community-engaged health policy research. Dr. Hill enjoys networking and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to conduct innovative and culturally responsive projects. Her expertise involves using interdisciplinary theories, and qualitative, quantitative, and social network research methods to investigate and evaluate the social determinants of health in partnership with minoritized and underserved groups. She has obtained competitive training fellowships and grants from academic, state, and federal sources (National Institutes of Health) to investigate and evaluate the support systems of marginalized groups as well as barriers to equitable health service access and use.
