About Jordan Shore
I'm a 5th year Industrial and System Engineering student. I've worked with Duke Energy in nuclear plants, and I've worked with Volvo Group in an office. Needless to say there's a learning experience everywhere. Industrial Engineering at North Carolina State University is about more than manufacturing. It's about efficiency. Efficiency in production facilities, supply chain, software, manual processes, ergonomics, any much more. Our courses prepare us for more than through numbers in an excel sheet. They train us to look at any situation, analyze it, and come up with solutions that could improve them. My time interning and co-oping, and in my undergrad courses, has shown me I really enjoy analyzing things, and finding ways to improve them. I have been fortunate to be a part of efficiency improving projects in both companies, and I hope to find a position where my skills and experience can be utilized to help others do the same.
