Alongside the launch, a 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Awareness Campaign has been started to increase awareness and promote the use of this vital service.

Water Safety Initiatives in Washington State

The Washington State Department of Health places significant emphasis on water safety, particularly during the warmer months due to the increased risk of drownings in lakes and rivers. Yori’s Law designates May 15 as Water Safety Day, aiming to promote water safety awareness and swim education.
