Previous Experience at Mercy Corps
Before joining Water Mission, Lawrence Otika worked as an Engineering Officer in the WASH sector at Mercy Corps from 2010 to 2013. During his three years with the organization, he was involved in various engineering projects aimed at enhancing water and sanitation facilities, contributing to the overall health and well-being of communities in need.
Educational Background
Lawrence Otika has a diverse educational background. He studied at Iganga Technical Institute from 2003 to 2007, where he completed a four-year program. He furthered his education at Uganda Technical College Lira from 2008 to 2010 for two years. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree from Ndejje University, studying from 2013 to 2016. Additionally, he attended the Uganda Management Institute for a year from 2018 to 2019. He has also studied at Uganda Christian University.
