About Daniel Feinberg
I graduated in 3 years from Washington University in St. Louis with a degree in Biology. I have a good amount of research experience both in a top tier cancer research hospital, and in a private start-up environment. During my 2nd year of college I came up with the idea for Stay In Touch which won the Clinton Global Initiative-University bracket challenge. This idea aims to help people easily stay connected after a disaster with only access to a cell phone, and is based off of growing cell phone penetrance while internet is still lagging behind. I did research at the University of Pennsylvania on FOXO1 and how it effects fracture/wound healing in diabetic and normoglycemic conditions in vitro and in vivo. I am now doing translational research in the Department of Hematological Malignancies at the Duke University Medical Center on multiple myeloma and stem cell biology.
