Work at World Economic Forum
Ty Greene has been serving as the Lead for Health Equity at the World Economic Forum since 2022. In this role, he manages a coalition of over 40 organizations from corporate, academic, and civil society sectors through the Global Health Equity Network. His responsibilities include recruiting and managing a global team of three fellows to achieve health equity initiative milestones. Greene also advises senior business leaders on integrating health equity into sustainability strategies, which has led to public commitments from more than 70 CEOs through the Zero Health Gaps Pledge.
Education and Expertise
Ty Greene holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from INSEAD, which he completed from 2018 to 2019. He also earned a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Queen's University, where he studied from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, he obtained a Certificate (Honours) in Interdisciplinary Studies in Global Health and Disability from Bader College in 2013. Greene's educational background supports his expertise in health equity and sustainability.
Background
Before his current position at the World Economic Forum, Ty Greene held various roles that contributed to his expertise in health equity and community engagement. He worked as a Community Specialist and later as Manager of Business and Human Rights at the World Economic Forum from 2019 to 2022.
