Elica Rahdar holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Developmental Psychology/Psychological Sciences from The University of Texas at Dallas, where she studied from 2004 to 2010. She also earned a Master's degree in the same field at the same institution from 2004 to 2007. Her academic background is complemented by a Bachelor's degree in Psychology/Biology, achieved from 2000 to 2003.

Elica Rahdar worked as a Postdoctoral Scholar at the University of California, Los Angeles, in the Developmental Neuroscience Laboratory from 2011 to 2014. This experience provided her with a strong foundation in neuroscience, enhancing her expertise in developmental psychology.
