Triunfo has extensive experience with the 48 Hour Film Project, having served as a juror in multiple locations. In 2017, Triunfo was a juror in La Paz, Bolivia, and in 2018, in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Additionally, Triunfo participated as a jury member in Arequipa, Peru, in 2019. This involvement demonstrates a consistent engagement with the project across different countries in South America.

Roma Triunfo studied at Universidad Nacional de las Artes, where they obtained a Licenciatura en actuación in dramatic arts from 2007 to 2017. Triunfo also completed a Diplomatura in Mediación Cultural, Comunidad, artes y tecnología in 2020, which lasted 11 months.
