I am an energetic, commercially astute and passionate leader who advocates strongly for more female representation in technology roles and leadership in tech businesses. I am well known for building amazing teams by providing a strong leadership style that builds trust and connections that truly empowers each and everyone I lead to become their very best delivering significant impact to our clients, our organisation and the world at large. I blend business and technical acumen with expertise in creating growth strategies around digital transformations that grow company size, profits, and service offerings. I have been fortunate to work with and lead amazing teams across sales and marketing, and to consult at CEO level. Organisations include IBM and Salesforce, and now Optus. I'm especially proud of the results at IBM Natural Resources in Western Australia - from start-up to over $100m per year in 3 years with $600m of signings, and building a team of over 500 great people. Passionate about helping organisations harness the the power of emerging technologies to accelerate their digital transformations and maximise the impact and return on their investments in technology. Trust and customer advocacy are central to this. I combine a deep understanding of the dynamics of client business models with business acumen and a solid engineering, technology and finance background - something of an unusual combination of skills and experience. I love disruption and the opportunities for creative business solutions that follow - in particular, implementing a digital vision for how these new emerging technologies can assist organisations overcome challenges and create growth. I was recently honoured as the 2022 recipient of the ARN Women in ICT award for outstanding achievement and leadership, which was humbling moment given the amazing women who were also finalists. Originally from Canada, I am now grateful to raise my family living on and around the best beaches in world in Australia since 1995.
