Chialing Yu has been employed at Acer since 2011 as an Accessory Product Manager within the Android Tablet Business Group. Over the course of 13 years, she has been based in Xizhi, Taiwan. Chialing Yu served as an Engineering Product Manager at Quanta Computer Inc. for one year, from 2010 to 2011. In this position, she was part of the Multi-media Business Unit, focusing on product management for the iPod touch. Her experience in this role contributed to her expertise in managing product development and engineering processes.

Chialing Yu holds a Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering and Management from Yuan-Ze University, where she studied from 1998 to 2000. Additionally, she enhanced her language skills by studying English at Studio Cambridge English School and Stanton School of English between 2008 and 2009, achieving a certificate in English language proficiency.
Current Projects and Developments
Currently, Chialing Yu is developing an AC adaptor traveller kit and a multi-function portfolio case for 7” devices. She has also created a multi-function portfolio case for 10” devices, utilizing both stitch and heat seal processes. Furthermore, she is evaluating new accessory options, including a stand-alone docking, docking keyboard, and stylus, to expand the accessory offerings for Android tablets.
