Founder | Mechanical-Robotics Engineer | Artist At Acrylic, we build cutting-edge technologies to modernize the $70 billion art market. We've designed robots that paint with precision, and software that can turn any image or idea into a masterpiece with real brushstrokes. By making great art accessible to all, we're creating new income streams for working artists to make significantly more money -- on their terms. I founded Acrylic Robotics at age 20, in my second year of engineering; turned $50k into hundreds of thousands of funding; recruited and managed our technical teams across robotics, software, machine learning, mechanical design; was offered (declined) $750k in total on Dragon's Den; and have pitched to thousands on stages from Montreal to Lisbon to San Francisco. Before Acrylic, I started my first business at age 9 and raised $14k for charity by age 14; worked as a freelance artist from age 14 onwards; competed at the elite AAA level in multiple sports in my teens; at 19, founded & scaled Canada's first national-scale sustainability case competition (BRIDGE --www.bridgecasecomp.com); and held leadership roles on dozens of engineering committees in my undergrad at McGill. I've been named Next Canada's "Top Next 36 Entrepreneur", the US Consulate of Montreal's "Top Woman in Tech for Good", C2 Montreal's Emerging Entrepreneur of the Year, Pierre Peladeau's "Top 5 Entrepreneurs", and Acrylic has won Centech's "Top Tech Innovation Prize" and GRIT's "Top 10 Canadian Startups to Watch", among other accolades. I'm passionate about the future of AI, robots and art, and I've given talks across the world on subjects like the definition of creativity, AI & robot ethics, collaborative robots, intersection of art & technology, strategies for growing a team, and how to kickstart and support female & minority entrepreneurs.
