Mark Harding holds a Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science and Engineering, with a minor in Computer Science, from the University of Pennsylvania, which he completed from 2011 to 2015. He furthered his education at the Nuclear Power School, where he studied Nuclear Engineering in 2018. Additionally, he attended Navy Officer Candidate School in 2015 for 11 months, gaining leadership and technical skills relevant to his military career.
