Kawther Al Zubi has an extensive educational background in accounting and economics. She earned a Bachelor's degree in Economics from McMaster University, studying from 2016 to 2018. Before that, she completed an Accelerated Accounting diploma with honours at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology (NAIT) from 2010 to 2011. Her academic journey began at Jami'at Mu'tah, where she achieved a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting between 1996 and 2000.
Accounting Responsibilities at Aditya Birla Group
In her role at Aditya Birla Group, Kawther Al Zubi manages a variety of accounting tasks. She is responsible for preparing internal cash operations reports, including those for cash flow fluctuations, accounts receivable and payable aging, debt reporting, and intercompany balancing. She also handles the reconciliation of SAP for revenue and cost accounts, and prepares and reconciles bank accounts, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrual, and inter-company accounts. Additionally, she ensures all required external and auditing reports are prepared to meet external accounting customer needs, including government filings of GST, PST, and NR4.
