Before his current role, Pankaj Jain has held several positions at Aditya Birla Group. From 2005 to 2011, he worked as GM - Network Services in the Mumbai Area. Prior to that, from 2001 to 2005, he served as DGM – Projects, also in Mumbai. Throughout these roles, he contributed significantly to network rollouts and infrastructure development across various circles.

Pankaj Jain began his career in the telecommunications industry with positions at several prominent companies. He worked as Assistant Technical Manager and Sr. Executive – Services at RPG Paging Services Ltd in New Delhi, and as Technical Head - North Region at PATRIOT AUTOMATION PROJECTS LTD. He also held positions at Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals Limited and Tata Telecom Ltd, where he gathered experience in customer support and technical operations.

Pankaj Jain holds a B.E. in Electronics & Communications from Delhi College of Engineering, completed in 1989. Additionally, he acquired a Diploma in Management with a focus on Sales & Marketing from Bhartiya Vidya Bhawan. His academic background provides a strong foundation in both technical and managerial aspects of telecommunications engineering.
Notable Projects and Achievements
Throughout his career, Pankaj Jain has led numerous significant projects. He managed the rollout of over 500 2G BTS sites in Delhi and supervised the addition of 2700 2G sites in Rajasthan. He directed the deployment of 2500 LTE sites in Mumbai within six months and achieved recognition for Jaipur as the top-ranked metro town in India under his leadership. His efforts in cost optimization and network performance improvement have consistently led to enhanced operational efficiency and profitability.
