Additionally, he served as the Site IT Lead for South San Francisco and Hillsboro, Roche Pharma Technical Operations Informatics from 2011 to 2013. He also held the position of Head of North America Sales and Marketing Solutions from 2016 to 2018.
Education and Professional Development
Jay Ramakrishna has a strong educational background. He studied Computer Science and earned a BSc. from Oklahoma City University from 1994 to 1996. He later pursued a Master’s degree in Management-Information Systems at the University of San Francisco from 2003 to 2005. He also completed the Roche IT Accelerate Program at Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business in 2013. Additionally, he participated in the WOMEN-Unlimited TEAM program, achieving a leadership certification in 2008.
Leadership and Initiatives
Throughout his career, Jay Ramakrishna has taken on various leadership roles and initiatives. He served as a gPODS Co-Lead for the Genentech Women's Professional (GWP) from 2016 to 2017 and co-led the Male Engagement initiative within GWP in 2018. He led the wellness initiative at Genentech IT in 2013 and was instrumental in developing the Livewell wellness app for corporate use in 2014. He also acted as a Community Champion within IT during 2014 and 2015.

Jay Ramakrishna began his career at Oklahoma City University, where he worked as a Lab Tutor from 1994 to 1995 and as a Helpdesk Assistant from 1995 to 1996.
