About Christopher Matteo
Mr. Matteo is an ambitious, independent leader with extensive international experience, having already lived and worked the last 10 years in France, the United Kingdom, Germany, Belgium, and the Netherlands. He is particularly adept in consulting, executive relationship management, external relations, policy analysis, government/corporate outreach, market research, business development, recruiting, strategy, and critical writing. He speaks several languages and maintains a strong network of executives, diplomats, professionals, academics, and government officials on both sides of the Atlantic. He currently serves as a Global Executive Leadership Consultant at Ahold Delhaize. His research and academic specializations are in European security, Russian & Eastern European politics, and the transatlantic relationship. He wrote his M.A. dissertation on the geopolitical security of the Baltic States following the Russian annexation of Crimea in 2014. He completed his M.A. in European Studies at King’s College London and prior to KCL, obtained B.A.'s in both Political Science and French from Furman University. He is an avid athlete, traveler, and ''av-geek.''
