Lisa Jaster earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point. She furthered her education by completing a master's degree in civil engineering from the Missouri University of Science and Technology in 2004. Her technical knowledge is complemented by extensive practical experience as both a military engineer and a corporate professional.
Military Background and Service
Lisa Jaster was commissioned as an active-duty engineering officer after graduating from West Point. She deployed in support of Operation Enduring Freedom in 2002 and Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003. Stationed in South Korea for two years, she rejoined the Army as a reservist in 2012. Jaster attended Army Ranger School from April to October 2015, becoming one of the first females to graduate from the integrated course. She continues to serve in the US Army Reserve with over 17 years of service.
Professional Career at Royal Dutch Shell and M&S Engineering
Lisa Jaster worked for Royal Dutch Shell for 12 years, gaining substantial experience in the corporate sector. In 2019, she became the Director of Civil Engineering at M&S Engineering in Spring Branch, Texas. Her roles have allowed her to bridge the gap between military and corporate leadership. She left corporate America in August 2022 to focus on her career as an Executive Coach, Leadership Development Expert, and Keynote Speaker.
