Prior to his role at Ally, Geoff Ellis spent a significant portion of his career at AAA Life Insurance Company in Livonia, Michigan. From 2012 to 2017, he served as the Director of IT Application Development & Enterprise Architecture. Then, from 2017 to 2019, he took on the role of Director of Technology Strategy & Architecture. During his tenure, he contributed extensively towards technological advancements and strategy.

At Ally, Geoff Ellis was instrumental in the evolution and expansion of the SmartAuction platform. His work supported an improved dealer experience and facilitated year-on-year growth and expansion into new markets.
