Antonio E. Peluso's Education and Academic Background
Antonio E. Peluso holds a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology with honors from the University of California, Santa Cruz. During his time there, he received the Chancellor’s Award for his research thesis, which was based on NSF-funded ethnographic fieldwork conducted with a Kayapo indigenous community in the Brazilian Amazon. His academic background also includes serving as a Teaching Fellow in the anthropology department of Santa Rosa Junior College, where he contributed to the academic development of students.

Outside of his professional role, Antonio E. Peluso is an accomplished drummer and percussion teacher. He teaches drums and percussion at a local music school and also works as a freelance drummer. Additionally, he is a member of the DC-based band Oddbodi. His involvement in music allows him to combine his passion for rhythm with his commitment to education and community engagement.
