During his time there, he received the Chancellor’s Award for his research thesis, which was based on NSF-funded ethnographic fieldwork conducted with a Kayapo indigenous community in the Brazilian Amazon. His academic background also includes serving as a Teaching Fellow in the anthropology department of Santa Rosa Junior College, where he contributed to the academic development of students.

Antonio E. Peluso - Drummer and Percussion Teacher

Outside of his professional role, Antonio E. Peluso is an accomplished drummer and percussion teacher. He teaches drums and percussion at a local music school and also works as a freelance drummer. Additionally, he is a member of the DC-based band Oddbodi. His involvement in music allows him to combine his passion for rhythm with his commitment to education and community engagement.
