Additionally, she served as Department Head at the Navy Operational Support Center Norfolk from 2012 to 2013. In her reserve capacity, she has held various roles, including Commander since 2016.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the United States Naval Academy, completing her studies from 1998 to 2002. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and Military Studies from Hawaii Pacific University from 2018 to 2019. Additionally, she completed the Joint Professional Military Education Phase I at the USAF Air Command and Staff College in 2013.
