Antonio Smyth serves as the Executive Vice President at American Electric Power (AEP) since 2023. In this role, he oversees AEP's regulatory activities at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and four Regional Transmission Organizations. Smyth leads the origination and strategic planning of multi-billion dollar infrastructure investment programs across electric generation, transmission, distribution, and telecommunications. He previously held the position of Senior Vice President at AEP for 22 years, from 2001 to 2023.
