Before her extensive career at American Electric Power, Michelle Wood worked at Liebert Corporation as the Quality System Manager for North America from 2003 to 2006. Michelle Wood holds an undergraduate degree from Oklahoma State University. She studied at Bowling Green State University, where she earned both a Master of Organizational Development (MOD) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) between 1993 and 1997. Additionally, she is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute and completed a fellowship with the Ronnie K. Irani Center for the Creation of Economic Wealth’s ‘The Mine’ social innovation program. Wood is also an alumna of Oklahoma’s Leadership Exchange Academy.
