Pravas Parida has served as a Senior IT Architect at American Electric Power (AEP) since 2018. In this role, he is responsible for developing a technology roadmap for the tools and technologies utilized in the Integration Center of Excellence (ICOE). He actively participates in the RFP process for API Management and other technology tools, conducting proof of concepts (POCs) and evaluating products to recommend suitable tools for AEP. Additionally, he served as an Application Development Lead and Manager at Progressive Medical, Inc. from 2007 to 2010.

Pravas Parida has a solid educational foundation in mathematics and computer science. He earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mathematics from Delhi University. He further advanced his studies by obtaining a Master of Science (MS) in Mathematics and Computer Science from the same institution. Additionally, he attended the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (IETE), where he pursued a Master of Technology (MTech) degree, governed by IIT Delhi.
Technical Skills and Contributions
Pravas Parida has made notable contributions to technology frameworks and integration processes throughout his career. He architected a DevOps Pipeline CI/CD framework for WebMethods workflow, initially implemented in Jenkins and later migrated to GitHub Actions. He also created a container-based migration plan for Managed File Transfer (MFT) and WebMethods components to operate in an OpenShift environment. His expertise in integration technology has been instrumental in enhancing operational efficiency.
