About Holly Alpine

Holly Alpine (formerly Beale) has a passion for making big impacts for positive change towards a more sustainable, greener, cleaner, more equitable world. She founded, developed, and led the global Community Environmental Sustainability program for Microsoft's Datacenter Community Development team; building a program to positively impact the long-term environmental health of the communities in Microsoft’s global datacenter footprint. Previously as an Energy Analyst on Microsoft's Energy Strategy and Research team within Cloud Infrastructure and Operations, she focused on Market Strategy, Renewable Energy, and Distributed Generation. Holly also co-founded and co-led Microsoft's Sustainability Connected Community, the company's employee engagement group of 10,000+ employees leading positive environmental change at every level of the company. Holly is a graduate from the University of Georgia with degrees in Management Information Systems and International Business. She graduated Summa Cum Laude as the top student in her graduating class. Holly fully takes advantage of the outdoor opportunities that life has to offer, exploring mountains with backcountry skis and crampons, climbing rocks at the ends of ropes, roving forested trails and deserts on her mountain bike and in trail shoes, navigating white waters of rivers in her kayak, and investigating the oceans with SCUBA tanks, on surf boards, and on sail boats.
