Ronald Bogere Mitti serves as the Head of Technical at ATC Uganda since 2019. He leads technical projects focused on infrastructure that supports mobile communications and broadcasting. Additionally, he oversees the security and occupational health and safety (OHS) aspects of ATC Uganda's infrastructure.
Previous Experience in Telecommunications
Before his current position, Mitti held several key roles in the telecommunications sector. He worked at Warid Telecom as the Chief Technical Officer from 2010 to 2013 and was responsible for BSS and Transmission Network Planning from 2007 to 2010. He also served as Chief Technical Officer at Airtel Uganda for 11 months in 2013 and as Vice President Network Director at Airtel Tanzania from 2014 to 2017.
Education and Qualifications
Ronald Bogere Mitti earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, and Computer Systems from Makerere University, studying from 1994 to 1998. He furthered his education by obtaining a Master of Business Administration from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University, from 2010 to 2013.

Mitti's career in telecommunications spans over two decades. He began as a BSS and Transmission Network Planning Manager at MTN Uganda from 2001 to 2007. After his tenure at Warid Telecom, he transitioned to Airtel Uganda and later Airtel Tanzania. His extensive experience in network planning and technical leadership has shaped his current role at ATC Uganda.
