Cindy engages with accounting and operations teams during the monthly close process to guarantee accurate financial reporting. Additionally, she prepares monthly regional financial packages, which she reviews with regional leadership to clarify key business drivers.
Previous Experience in Finance
Before joining AmeriCold Logistics, Cindy Mai held several finance-related positions. She worked as a Senior Manager of FP&A at Altec Lansing, a Division of Plantronics, from 2005 to 2008. Prior to that, she was an FP&A Manager at Agere Systems from 2001 to 2004. Her career in finance began at Lucent Technologies, where she served as Finance Manager from 1997 to 2001. These roles provided her with extensive experience in financial planning and analysis.
Education and Expertise
Cindy Mai holds a Master’s degree in Accounting from Babson F.W. Olin Graduate School of Business, which she completed from 1996 to 1998. She also earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-New Brunswick, between 1989 and 1993. Her educational background has equipped her with a solid foundation in accounting principles and financial analysis, which she applies in her current role.

In her capacity as Regional FP&A, Cindy acts as a Regional CFO, providing strategic financial consulting to the Regional Operations Vice President and General Managers. She develops customer profitability models to guide account profitability and address marginal accounts. Additionally, she reviews and validates financial evaluations of future business opportunities identified by Business Development and Supply Chain Solutions, ensuring informed decision-making.
