About Chris Andrews
I am on the in-house counsel team at Amherst Holdings. Amherst and its various subsidiaries are involved in mortgage backed securities trading, property management, single family rental securitization, commercial real estate loans , and algorithmic driven data analysis. For the past five years I have been responsible for managing all aspects of Amherst’s contractual relationships. This includes but is not limited to, subscription data vendors, financial institutions, and landlord/tenant transactions. In addition, I researched and implemented the company’s GDPR policy. I am a graduate of Texas A&M School of Law. I applied for and received the opportunity to take my third year at the University of Texas School of Law. Prior to Law School, I worked primarily in the financial/investment industry. I have extensive experience as a broker, market analyst, and trader. I believe that the rigorous analysis undertaken as part of my legal studies, in addition to my practical knowledge of investment management operations, qualifies me to serve in a General Counsel role. I firmly believe that my unique professional background will provide an excellent foundation from which to prepare and analysis rules and regulations applicable to a broad range of market participants.
