Yesh Kolla has served as Vice President of Engineering in the Circuit and IP Technology Group at Ampere since 2018. Previous Experience at Qualcomm
Before joining Ampere, Yesh Kolla worked at Qualcomm as Director of Engineering from 2004 to 2018. During his 14 years at Qualcomm, he was instrumental in delivering innovative circuit IPs, including SRAM memory designs for various cache levels. Kolla led the design of CPU and SOC power management systems, which encompassed current limiting, adaptive voltage and clock management, and on-die regulation. His work contributed significantly to the efficiency and performance of Qualcomm's products.
Experience at Sun Microsystems
Yesh Kolla began his career at Sun Microsystems, where he worked as an Engineer from 2000 to 2004. In this role, he provided technical direction for CPU circuit development for Centriq server SOCs and Snapdragon mobile SOCs. His experience at Sun Microsystems laid the foundation for his expertise in advanced process technology nodes, ranging from 28nm to 7nm-FinFET.
