Jason Ormsby serves as the Chief Healthcare Officer at Aptive Resources, a position he has held since 2020. In this role, he is responsible for health professional education and program evaluation within the Health Services Group. He leads advanced capability groups focused on health systems transformation and high reliability. Additionally, he oversees quality improvement initiatives and mental and subpopulation health programs across federal agencies.

Jason Ormsby has an extensive educational background in health administration and related fields. He earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public Administration and Health Policy from The George Washington University from 2002 to 2007. He also holds a Master of Health Services Administration (MHSA) from Arizona State University, achieved between 1997 and 1999. His undergraduate studies include a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Economics from the University of Missouri-Kansas City, completed in the same timeframe. Additionally, he has obtained certifications such as Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
Professional Experience
Jason Ormsby has held various positions in the healthcare sector. Prior to his current role at Aptive Resources, he worked at Atlas Research, LLC as Senior Vice President from 2009 to 2016. He also served as the Federal Relations representative at The Joint Commission from 2005 to 2009. Earlier in his career, he was a Winston Health Policy Fellow at the U.S. House of Representatives for one year and worked at the Mayo Clinic in Health Administration from 1993 to 1999.

In addition to his role at Aptive Resources, Jason Ormsby has been involved in academia as an Adjunct Professor at George Washington University since 2014 and as an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University since 2004.
