Jennifer Farrell Director, Learning and Development at Aptive
Jennifer Farrell has served as the Director of Learning and Development at Aptive since 2022. In this role, she has spearheaded several key initiatives including the establishment of an effective Learning Management System (LMS) and the creation of five communities of practice. She also managed the administration of the employee professional development stipend and a comprehensive budget for tools and resources, ensuring the efficient allocation of funds to support company-wide educational endeavors.
Jennifer Farrell’s Education and Professional Certifications
Jennifer Farrell holds a Master of Arts in Political Communication and a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from the University of Northern Iowa. She is recognized as a Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) by the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and has earned a Customer Experience Professional Certification from Medallia. Additionally, she has completed the 'Communicating for Impact' course from McKinsey & Company and the 'Adult Learning Theory' course from the Association for Talent Development.
Jennifer Farrell’s Leadership in Training and Professional Development
Jennifer Farrell has been instrumental in leading the executive coaching program and developing an internal training academy at Aptive. She has also led the Veterans Training Program, providing support and coaching to 6,000 of America's Veterans in transitioning from military to civilian careers. Additionally, she designed and developed a standardized curriculum in alignment with federal guidelines, which is utilized by approximately 200,000 servicemembers annually. Farrell trained hundreds of trainers on subject matter and adult learning principles.
Jennifer Farrell’s Contributions to Learning Infrastructure and Quality Assurance
In her role at Aptive, Jennifer Farrell has designed and developed quality assurance programs to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of learning and development initiatives. She prepared contract training infrastructure and materials and built standardized virtual training templates to facilitate consistent and high-quality training delivery. Additionally, she delivered synchronous onboarding sessions to integrate new employees into the organization smoothly and effectively.
