David Sagalowicz studied at Ecole polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne, where he earned a degree in Sciences des Matériaux, achieving the title of Ingénieur from 1991 to 1997. He furthered his education at Stanford University, where he studied Sciences des matériaux for 11 months in 1995.
