Jessica is Senior Director of Learning Sciences at Area9. Her Ph.D with Area9 is focused on AI, Education and Equality. She speaks publicly about about: Education, EdTech, AI, ethics and creativity. Her digital learning experience spans across EdTech, creativity, publishing, K12, startups, HE and The Future of Work She is on the board and pro-bono Director of Education Technology of WorldView Impact Foundation: http://worldviewimpact.org/ where she has implemented climate change and sustainability projects in Meghalaya She has a diverse skill set such as research, learning design, curriculum design, teaching, facilitating, product development, partnerships, content development, arts management and evaluating impact. As a researcher Jessica on the Horizon 2020 UCL Educate project she mentored AI, EdTech startups. She co-designed a revised curriculum for Kano for inquiry based learning. At Inspiral she designed an interactive online Human Migration course with mentorship from Oxford University. She developed teaching methodologies in Japan and Austria, where she reformed education with more intercultural & diverse content. Jessica founded a charity in Austria focused on the intersection between arts, education and tech, that brought girls, refugees and young adults back into education. This was through curriculum reform with Arts Education & EdTech, funded by Austrian governments and EU. Her intercultural education project won an education award with Erste Foundation in Austria Her education project with an AI writing startup won the Oxford University, Wolfson Innovate award. Jessica has developed content & digital solutions for arts education programs in museums & cultural institutions as well as foundations. Jessica initiated, directed and curated a Google Arts and Culture Project. Jessica has created partnerships between galleries, artists and tech companies Jessica curated, designed and implemented the Art Management MBA and Executive MBA at ICCM/SMBS, Austria and Columbia College, Chicago.
