Hemant pursued his higher education at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kharagpur, where he earned a Master’s Degree in Optical Communication from 1997 to 1999. Prior to that, he obtained a Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics & Telecommunication from Jabalpur Engineering College.
