Belinda Parker currently holds two significant roles at Arup. Since 2016, she has been serving as the Sydney Architecture Lead and an Associate in Sydney, Australia. In 2022, she took on an additional leadership role as the Australasia Architecture Skills Leader in Melbourne, Victoria, providing strategic guidance across the region.
Previous Experience at COX Architecture
Before joining Arup, Belinda Parker worked at COX Architecture as an Associate from 2013 to 2016. During her tenure at the Sydney, NSW office, she was involved in various architectural projects, contributing to the firm’s design initiatives and project executions.
Educational Background
Belinda Parker received her Master of Architecture in 2012 and her Bachelor of Design in Architecture in 2009, both from the University of Sydney. Additionally, she pursued the FutureNet Business Leaders Course by Consult Australia, focusing on Professional Leadership Development from 1970 to 2015.
Award-Winning Projects
Belinda Parker has led several award-winning projects. The Terrigal Boardwalk and Rockpool project won the 2022 Regional Achievement Award AILA and the 2022 AIA NSW Commendation for Urban Design. Parker's leadership on the Barangaroo Ferry Wharf project earned it the 2018 City of Sydney Lord Mayor's Prize and the 2018 AIA NSW Award for Steel Architecture. It also received a commendation for Public Architecture.
