Before joining Arup, David Morgan worked as a Civil Engineer at Jacobs Babtie. His role at the Bedford office lasted from 2004 to 2005. During this period, he honed his skills in civil engineering, which laid the foundation for his subsequent roles and responsibilities in larger projects.
Education and Certification
David Morgan has a solid educational background in Civil Engineering. He earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Civil Engineering with Management from the University of Birmingham from 1999 to 2003. Later, he furthered his expertise by achieving Chartered Engineer (CEng) status through the Institution of Civil Engineers, where he studied from 2004 to 2009.
Project Involvements
David Morgan has been involved in various significant engineering projects. He led the civil engineering delivery for the Heathrow Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) project. He also contributed to the highways workstream on the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Park. In addition, he managed the civil engineering design delivery for three railway depot projects aimed at accommodating new rolling stock, and he participated in the design of infrastructure and masterplan development for several airport projects.
