She also held roles in the Australian Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade as an AusAID Senior Procurement and Financing Analyst from 2005 to 2008, and worked as an Investment Analyst and Graduate Development Program participant at the Australian Department of Defence in 2004 and 2005.

Educational Background

Elisa holds several academic qualifications. She earned a Graduate Certificate in Management from the University of New England (AU) in 2008. She completed dual Bachelor’s degrees in Commerce and Arts from The Australian National University in 2003. Additionally, she undertook advanced studies, including a Masters Module in Urban Resilience at MIT Sloan School of Management in 2018-2019 and a Postgraduate Professional Certificate in Strategy and Performance Management from Georgetown University in 2016-2017. She also briefly studied Economics and achieved a Master of Public Health at Deakin University in 1970.
