Nick Copeland has played a central role in several significant projects. At Arup, he was responsible for the detailed design of a new side-channel spillway for the Trebeddrod Reservoir in Llanelli, Wales, ensuring compliance with the Reservoirs Act 1975. He also performed an economic appraisal for a surface water flood alleviation strategy in Risca, Wales, for Natural Resources Wales. Additionally, he organized the Young Scientific Programme Committee for the 2014 World Water Week in Stockholm, showcasing his leadership and commitment to advancing water management solutions.
Volunteer Work and Community Involvement
Nick Copeland volunteered on an irrigation feasibility study project in Nepal, collaborating with Arup and Engineering Ministries International.
