Earlier, from 2007 to 2011, he was the Associate Human Settlements Officer for the Cities in Crisis & Safer Cities Programme in Kenya and various countries.

UNESCO Contributions

Pasquale Capizzi's career includes substantial contributions to UNESCO. From 2005 to 2007, he worked as a Programme Specialist in Social Development and Youth in Central America. Between 2003 and 2005, he served as a Consultant on urban and local development initiatives. His journey with UNESCO began as an Assistant to the Director on Human Rights and Local Development, based in the Mexico City Area, where he continued from 2002 to 2003.
