Ydze Rijff is currently serving as a Graduate Intern within the Integrated Transport & Land Use sector at Arup. Since 2022, Ydze has been working in Amsterdam, Noord-Holland, Nederland. Past Experience at Marineterrein Amsterdam
In 2021, Ydze Rijff worked as a Living Lab Developer at Marineterrein Amsterdam for three months. During this tenure, Ydze was involved in setting up a Living Lab dedicated to exploring scalable urban mobility alternatives aimed at achieving a car-free city. This project involved extensive collaboration with various stakeholders to examine and implement innovative urban mobility solutions.

Ydze Rijff has a robust educational background with a focus on urban planning and international relations. Ydze holds a Master of Science (MS) in Metropolitan Analysis, Design & Engineering from TU Delft, completed between 2020 and 2022. In 2019, Ydze earned a Minor in International Relations and International Organization from Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM). Additionally, Ydze obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Spatial Planning & Design from Rijksuniversiteit Groningen, completed from 2016 to 2020. Earlier education includes a pre-university education certificate (Atheneum) in Economics & Society from Alberdingk Thijm College, earned between 2009 and 2015.
Previous Roles and Experience
Ydze Rijff has accumulated diverse professional experience across various roles. Ydze served as a Working Student at Bakker&Spees from 2021 to 2022 for six months, and as a Digital Content Manager at Young Urban Engineers for seven months within the same period. From 2017 to 2021, Ydze worked as a FreeFlexer at Temper in the Netherlands. Earlier, in 2015 and 2016, Ydze undertook a working holiday in Queenstown, Otago, New Zealand for five months.
