Baskar holds a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Pondicherry University, which he completed from 1997 to 2000. He also earned a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Mothilal Nehru Government Polytechnic between 1994 and 1997. He is a certified Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute and is also a PSM-1 Certified Scrum Master, demonstrating his expertise in Agile methodologies.
Achievements in Data Analytics
Baskar has led significant projects in data analytics and business intelligence. He built a customer 360 solution that integrated over 100 data sources, impacting one-third of the USA adult population. He also delivered a Covid-19 case tracking dashboard for the HR team in under five days and launched near real-time dashboards for inventory management, saving approximately 100 hours per week.
Project Management Expertise
Baskar has extensive experience in managing large-scale projects. He managed a project team of over 175 members with a revenue of $11 million and executed a business reporting platform modernization with a budget of approximately $3 million. Additionally, he led a cloud data warehouse modernization effort with a team size of 20 and a budget of $3 million.
