Eric Velte - Chief Technology Officer
Eric Velte serves as the Chief Technology Officer at ASRC Federal. His career spans various roles focused on leading and innovating within the technology and defense sectors. Eric joined ASRC Federal in 2010 through the acquisition of Defense and Mission Solutions Engineering, bringing with him substantial experience from his tenure at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC), where he oversaw the development and delivery of technical products and services for U.S. Navy contracts. At ASRC Federal, he has been instrumental in the development of technical solutions and roadmaps at both the operating group and enterprise levels.

Eric Velte holds a bachelor's degree in history from Ursinus College and a master’s degree in computer science from Rowan University. His educational background equips him with a deep understanding of both the humanities and technical sciences, enabling him to lead complex technological initiatives effectively. His expertise encompasses leading technology development projects and strategic planning within defense and mission-critical environments.
Eric Velte Background in Technology Development
Eric Velte previously managed the research, development, and delivery of technical products and services for U.S. Navy contracts at Computer Sciences Corporation (CSC). At ASRC Federal, he has served as the chief scientist and chief architect for the Aegis Weapon System development team and has led application development efforts for NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, overseeing a data center team responsible for maintaining more than 185 applications and 30 discrete systems.
Eric Velte's Achievements in Employee Development
Eric Velte has spearheaded several key employee development programs at ASRC Federal. Notably, he launched and developed the enterprise STRIDE internship program, the enterprise Technical Fellows program, and the annual Technology Summit and Expo. He also supports over 5300 technical employees in their career advancement and upskilling through various initiatives, including the CTO Academy, Communities of Practice, and the enterprise workforce mobility program.
