I help engineer growth in Asian markets with my go-to-market strategy & business development expertise. I have 20+ years of experience working across 13 countries in APAC region leading large multicultural teams & building trustworthy strategic partnerships. Led successful business expansion in commercial leadership roles for FMCG MNCs (P&G, GSK, BIC) and for B2B tech ventures (as a VC & Venture Builder). Specifically, helped build the BIC brand franchise across 50000+ stores in APAC region and co-founded a global platform for startup discovery, investments & revenue scaling. It was perhaps the world's first online & data driven assessment platform that was designed as a cooperative. The platform onboarded 2500+ startups from 40+ countries along with 100+ domain experts, carved 30+ institutional partnerships and brought in scores of HNI investors. The founding vision of Startup-O platform was to discover promising founders with a merit driven process and help them build world-class companies together with venture capital & revenue scaling networks. This proprietary assessment prcess combined expert led evaluations with rating algorithms for providing diagnostic reports to the founders and transparent diligence data for investment decisions worked for founders and investors alike. This helped to bust 'Who you know is more important than what you are building' reality for many founders across startup ecosystems and ushered in meritocracy and transparency in venture investments. In the process, I have catalysed venture capital investments in 30+ pre series-A startups, created a vast netwrok of partners across 15 countries, worked closely with some notable B2B growth stage tech ventures for successful cross-border revenue scaling, held advisory board duties in few companies and mentored scores of founders on their onward journeys. I actively share my learnings of new venture creation at various universities and have trained 200+ founders leading a startup bootcamp in Singapore.
