Chuck Laue combined decades of expertise in the consumer insurance space with his lifelong passion for animal welfare to found Companion Protect. The humanization of pets places a high priority on the wellbeing of dogs and cats—and while pet ownership is on the rise, so are the costs of keeping those pets healthy and happy. Companion Protect brings pet health and wellness solutions to leaders in the insurance, retail, affinity, and employee benefits industries, helping brands incorporate these offerings into their existing lines of business to seamlessly offer the product directly to customers and employees. Chuck is proud to work alongside a team of industry experts with extensive knowledge in building and operating best-in-class, scalable, consumer-focused insurance programs. From product design and nationwide filing to the Q&E experience and claims reimbursement, Companion Protect does the heavy lifting that brings pet insurance and wellness programs to life for their partners. Outside of Companion Protect, Chuck tirelessly works to better the lives of dogs, cats, and all animals across the country and globe. He proudly serves as Board Chair for The Humane Society of the United States, Great Plains SPCA, Stray Dog Capital, and Stray Dog Institute. He spends his free time with his wife, Jennifer, and together they work towards a better world for humans, their companion animals, and the animals with whom we share our planet.
