She then pursued a Master of Arts in Education Policy, Organization, and Leadership Studies at Stanford University, graduating in 2008. Additionally, she obtained a Master of Business Administration from Stanford University Graduate School of Business, which she completed in 2010.

Her consulting work followed her earlier experience as a Senior Associate in the Office of Human Capital at District of Columbia Public Schools in 2009.
