About Adam Nanjee
As the Head of Venture Capital at Amazon Web Services (AWS), Adam is responsible for the strategic direction and partnerships between top VC firms and AWS to scale and invest in the best-in-class startups leveraging AWS, the number one cloud, globally. Prior to joining AWS, Adam was the Managing Director of Canada for venture capital, private equity and startups at Microsoft. Adam previously built Canada's first FinTech startups and innovation hub at MaRS Discovery District, one of North America's largest innovation hubs based in Toronto, Canada. Adam has held senior leadership positions at both startups and Fortune 100 companies in corporate development, technology and sales at AWS, Microsoft, MasterCard, BlackBerry and Zafin.
