Previous Experience in Sustainable Development
Prior to his current role, Chip Cunliffe worked at Geo Mission as the Head of Programmes from 2007 to 2012. During his five years in this position, he was responsible for managing various sustainability initiatives. Before that, he served as the Regional Development Manager at World Challenge Expeditions from 1999 to 2004, where he contributed to the development of programs that promoted environmental awareness and community engagement. He also worked as a Teacher of Geography at The Downs School Compton for 11 months in 2006-2007.
Education and Expertise
Chip Cunliffe holds a PGCE in Secondary Geography from the University of Bath, which he completed from 2005 to 2006. He also earned a BSc (Hons) in Geography from the University of Plymouth, achieving a 2:1 classification from 1994 to 1997. His foundational education includes A Levels in Geography, Government & Politics, and General Studies from Reading Blue Coat School, where he studied from 1988 to 1993. This educational background has equipped him with the knowledge and skills necessary for his roles in sustainable development.
