Petr Tosner has been serving as the Sales Director for Eastern Europe at Axis Communications since 2016. Based in Prague, Czech Republic, he has held this position for eight years. Prior to this role, he worked as the Regional Marketing Manager for Russia, CIS & Eastern Europe from 2012 to 2017. During his tenure at Axis, he managed significant projects, including the coordination and supervision of five face-to-face events for the Axis EMEA KickOffs in 2020 and a complex virtual event for over 500 participants in 2021.

Before joining Axis Communications, Petr Tosner had an extensive career at IBM. He worked in various roles, including Manager of Market Development for Central and Eastern Europe from 2011 to 2012, and DEMA Marketing and Communications Leader from 2009 to 2011. His earlier positions included Software Marketing Strategist/Tivoli Marketing Manager for the CEMAAS region from 2005 to 2008 and Information Management Sales from 2008 to 2009. Tosner also participated in an IBM CSR project in October 2011 as a volunteer strategic consultant.
Education and Expertise
Petr Tosner holds an MBA from Warwick Business School, which he completed in 2010. He also has a Master's degree in Information Management from the University of Hradec Králové, obtained in 2003. His educational background includes studies in Psychology at Prague College of Psychosocial Studies, where he is currently pursuing a 5-Year Psychological Training in Daseinanalysis, expected to complete in 2024. Additionally, he studied International Marketing and Management at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences in 1999.

Petr Tosner began his career as a Country Manager for Czech Republic Global Database Services at AIESEC in 2001. He also worked at Microsoft as a General Manager Assistant for Strategic Development and Market Intelligence Specialist from 2002 to 2005. His early roles laid the foundation for his expertise in marketing and sales, which he has continued to develop throughout his career.
