About Gideon Gradman

Experienced energy executive and adviser on energy development and finance. His work centers on understanding the spectrum of energy resources from oil & gas to renewable fuels, how best to use them, and strategies for financing them. As Managing Director and Northeast Region Leader of Baker Tilly's Energy & Infrastructure Group, Gideon advises companies, asset owners, and investors on energy markets, project finance and tax credits and incentives, and developing energy and industrial assets. He is one of Baker Tilly's experts on the Inflation Reduction Act's energy provisions and advises energy developers, universities, municipalities, and regional government agencies on energy development and tax credit finance. With over 19 years of experience in the industry, Gideon is a trusted advisor to corporate leaders and government officials. He is also a frequent speaker at energy and manufacturing industry conferences. Prior to joining Baker Tilly Capital and founding Integrated Energy Advisors, Gideon served as U.S. Director of Business Development for Braskem, a worldwide maker of polymers, resins, and renewable plastics, where he was responsible for developing new businesses, and new manufacturing and logistics assets in the United States. Prior to his work at Braskem, Gideon held management and advisory positions at Charles River Associates, Deloitte, and two cleantech venture-capital funded portfolio companies. He also served as an appointed Public Member of the Massachusetts Energy Facilities Siting Board, the statewide authority charged with licensing the construction of major energy infrastructure in the state, from 2006-2007, appointed by the Governor of Massachusetts. He holds an MBA (Finance) and a Masters degree in Public Policy (Environmental and International Policy) from the University of Chicago, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Science from Washington University in St. Louis.
