Previous Experience in Data Science and Machine Learning
Prior to his role at Balun Energy, Yury Zhuk worked as a Data Scientist at craftworks GmbH from 2021 to 2023 in Vienna, Austria. He also gained experience as a Machine Learning Developer at Cerebri AI, where he completed two internships: one in 2017 for three months and another from 2017 to 2018 for seven months, both in Toronto, Canada. His early career included a Machine Learning Engineer internship at Kantify in 2019 for three months in Vienna.
Education and Expertise
Yury Zhuk studied at The University of British Columbia, where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics with a thematic concentration in Computer Science from 2015 to 2020. He also attended The Woodlands School from 2011 to 2015, achieving Enhanced Honors during his four years there. His educational background provides a strong foundation in data analysis and machine learning, which he applies in his current and previous roles.
Development of Phileas Tool
