About Kritika Jain

As technology continues to revolutionize our world and touch every aspect of our lives, I am curious to see what is next. How are we going to pay for groceries in the next five years? How quickly will I be able to send money to my friends for dinner? I am excited by the endless ways life can be improved and society can become more equitable by responsibly using data and integrating technology. To answer some of these questions, I traveled to Silicon Valley as a networking ambassador for the Villanova in the Valley program. As I talked to professionals at companies like PayPal, Adobe, Google, Thoma Bravo, and Kleiner Perkins, I was impressed by the newest ways companies are harnessing the power of technology for societal change. I was especially interested in Fintech given my majors in Finance and Business Analytics; I realized that I want a career that allows me combine both worlds and make lasting, positive impact. Luckily, I had the opportunity to explore this interest during my summer internship at Bank of America, in which I saved the Liquidity team 90+ hours in monthly reporting by implementing a report automation process. I loved learning about the current reporting processes and collaborating with my peers to ideate a reporting alternative that eased the team’s workload. More importantly, I had the opportunity to use my skillsets, knowledge, and data to help the team work more efficiently. I am eager to continue exploring my interest in the intersection of finance and technology and am continually searching for opportunities in fintech, payments, and data analytics. Feel free to reach out, and I look forward to meeting you!
